Youth Film Academy HomeThis is a featured page

If you're a teen or young adult the idea of making it big in Hollywood has probably crossed your mind once or twice. But the reality is that while thousands of people dream of becoming a star, very few ever make it.
That doesn't mean that your dream of having a successful career in Hollywood has to die, rather, you might think about making it behind the camera rather than in front.
The Youth Film Academy is a school that was founded by real Hollywood professionals; professionals who have worked on such popular movies and shows like: Hanna Montana, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, High School Musical, The Bourne Identity, Jumper and American Pie. These people realized that there were plenty of schools that taught filmmaking, but there seemed to be relatively few that focused on the behind-the-scenes aspects to the visual entertainment industry.
One of the unique aspects about The Youth Film Academy is the package format that allows students to pick a specialty based on their primary interest. This setup allows for intense study in the specialized areas of the industry.
For example, people who want to direct can opt for the Visionary Package. The Visionary Package teaches students about state-of-the-art equipment and exposes them to all aspects of the visual medium. These future directors will be challenged by the experienced staff as well as exciting guest speakers. Once the program is complete, students are rewarded with a red carpet premiere where they'll screen their work for family and friends.
In addition, the Superstar Package was created to show students how to apply the necessary techniques to edit movies and make casting decisions. All of the packages include a real red carpet premiere where students can showcase their work to family and friends.
If it's always been a dream of yours to have a successful career in the visual entertainment industry, why not see if the Youth Film Academy can be the springboard you need to get started. You can find them on the web at youthfilmacademy.com.
